About
The Windsor Castle opened as a lodging house back in 1845 and appeared as a beer house,
run by William Dean, by the 1851 census. It has been a classic pub ever since.
While the beers and the food menus have moved with the times, the building remains largely
the same and the view down The Long Walk is as spectacular today as it was 150 years ago.
